Arclight Records out of Texas has planned a split release between Dixie Witch
and The Glasspack. Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts, The Glasspack
will no longer be part of this release. In their place one of New York's finest, The
Brought Low, will make the second half of the Dixie Witch split. Look for
this incredible batch of jams at the beginning of the summer.
As for the rest of the release schedule, things are still up in the air regarding
actual dates. Be on the lookout for new material from Speedloader, JJ
Paradise Player's Club, and Natchet Taylor.

The Hidden Hand - "Divine Propaganda"
Wino's new band, The Hidden Hand, is working on their debut full-length, Divine Propaganda.
"It's gonna be KILLER!", says Wino. "I finished all the rhythm guitars, so ALL the basic tracks are done... this
record is different, heavy... I am pretty jazzed."
The Hidden Hand is a group with an agenda. Scorching with elements of hard rock, metal and punk, with
progressive touches and powerful dual lead vocals, this band's lyrics push through the haze covering the
inner workings of our society to espouse a string-pulling secret government that's been moving towards
world domination for centuries. Through the financial machinations of the IMF and the WTO, through
the orchestration of wars mutually funded by conflicting nations, through the nefarious tactics
of "divide and rule," this hidden cabal is slowly but surely tightening its grip on global control.
The Hidden Hand intends to speak out, protest and spread the word of freedom in the face of this powerful
and devious enemy the best way they can -- by unleashing their uncensored views in the form of
their debut album, Divine Propaganda. MeteorCity hopes to release this slab of truth by August
or September, and the band will tour both the USA and Europe during 2003.
Orquesta Del Desierto - "TBD"
Orquesta Del Desierto are currently working on their new album - with
returning cast members Pete Stahl, Mario Lalli, Mike Riley, Country Mark Engel, and Dandy Brown. New
additions this time are ex-Queens of The Stone Age drummer Gene Troutman and percussionist Pete Davidson.
The primary sessions for the recording are finished, with the remaining work to be done in early June. Says
head-Orquestan Dandy Brown, "We managed to get 10 songs recorded, six of which have
vocals already.
"There is some cleaning up to do, additions to make in the production studio in Palm Springs, but
everything is extremely strong. The tones, the vibe, everything has come together this time around. We
popped the top on the Jim Beam a few hours ago, and have been working on rough mixes."
"A few things to fix, add, and think about for production, but overall we've got a monster on our hands... and
that ain't just the Beam talking!"
Orquesta del Desierto's new album will sweep like a warm canyon wind across the land before year's end -- From MeteorCity in North America, and

Sea Of Green - "Chemical Vacation"
Toronto-bred trio Sea of Green has been making waves throughout its career as a pure force of rock. Their
early material had been used in television programming for MTV's Road Rules, ESPN's X-Games, FOX
Sports: Bluetorch TV, and many other promotions.
The band's infectious brand of psychosomatic rock is also noteworthy due to its ability to make one's
body move - in essence, a dance-ability induced by musical hyphnosis. The band's latest effort, a 12-track
intoxicatingly poignant platter entitled 'Chemical Vacation', raises the bar, and lifts Sea of Green beyond the
confines of mere stoner rock.
"Chemical Vacation", as with all previous Seo of Green work, was produced by Nick Balgona [The Tea Party, Deep
Purple, Nazareth] An exclusive new Sea of Green track is being included on the upcoming High Times: Stoner
Rock compilation, which also features Fu Manchu, Clutch, Nebula, Ed Mundell's The Formula & COC.

Wall of Sleep - "Overlook The All"
The first Hungarian Doom metal band on the roster of psycheDOOMelic records, Wall of Sleep plays mid-paced
Doom Metal with a slightly more uptempo feel. They are a classic Sabbath-influenced band, raising from
the ashes of the totally underrated Mood - Hungary`s premier Doom band producing four quality albums
and a double 7" [Fourteen Inches of Fury - with Revelation, Naevus, and Twisted Tower Dire - on Game Two Records]
in its 8 years of existence.
MOOD`s strong Sabbath-inspired doom style was mixed in with some Cathedral-ish, Serpent-ish fare on the
band`s four albums, `till they announced their breakup in December 2001. Leaving the grooves behind, the band is
presenting on it`s debut EP three original compositions - morose, sombre and hammer-crashing. Also included
is a truly memorable version of Black Sabbath`s "The Wizard."

Denmark's On Trial will soon see the stateside release of "Blinded By The Sun". This dose of towering lysergic
psychedelia will be administered on May 20th with layers of soaring leads wafting across fields
of early Monster Magnet and the 13th Floor Elevators.
Sleep - "Dope Smoker
Due the logistical problems, the official release date of Sleep' "Dopesmoker" has been pushed back a few
weeks. With Billy Anderson out on the road with Blessing the Hogs and Matt Pike piloting the High on Fire
juggernaut, the decision was made to delay the street date so that enough time could be
dedicated to the project to ensure it's utmost potency.
In addition to the epic track, this release will also feature a live version of the never recorded "Sonic Titan." You can now expect this to barrel
its way into stores on May 20th.
