High On Fire - "Surrounded By Thieves"
With a heavy-hoofed gallop, the gargantuan High On Fire bash out towering dimensions of sound on the highly-anticipated "Surrounded by Thieves". Burning down the pillars of time with quadrupled intensity, High On Fire inject tonal infectiousness as the mammoth, plaster-cracking guitar and throaty war cries of founding member Matt Pike (Sleep) interlock with elephantine bass grooves and cannon-like percussion, creating the last word in paralysis by sheer volume. "Surrounded by Thieves" perfectly delivers the behemoth sounds of an immense band. Sonic its sound... Destroyer comes down.

TEEPEE RECORDS

We here at Tee Pee Records are all a smiles about one of our new bands, Hermano. And when you here who the players are in Hermano, you may be inclined to call it a supergroup of sorts [but please resist that annoying urge]. Featuring John Garcia [Kyuss, Unida, Slo Burn], John Angstrom [Black Cat Bone], Steve Earle [Afghan Whigs], Mike Callahan [Disengaged] and Dandy Brown [Orquesta Del Desierto], Hermano lays it down the rock hard and smooth leaving a high riff aftertaste. Their first album, Hermano’s Only a Suggestion [CD/LP] will be released on July 9th.

Lost Goat's "The Dirty Ones" CD is out now! OK, are you one of those music gadflies that needs a little convincing? Check out what Sleazegrinder had to say about Lost Goat’s second effort for Tee Pee: "[Lost Goat] sounds like Ann and Nancy Wilson taking a wrong turn in 1973 and ending up chained to the wall in Blue Cheer's rehearsal space. Thick ass riffs like waves of electric lady gravy crashing over fried brain cells, the throb of hurt and need from between American thighs, and Satan, laughing, spreading his wings over it all."

We are proud to announce Boulder's new album, "Reaped in Half, Act I and II" will be unleashed for public consumption May 28th. The new rock firestorm from the Kings of Flying V’s will be offered onboth CD and LP and features 8 new barn burners from the masters of guitar mayhem. This album is so, excuse me, bad ass that it has disallows my imagination from producing an adequate description.

Digi-pack Full of Riffs:
In our latest scheme to assert their dominance in the music world, Tee Pee will be reissuing High On Fire's "The Art of Self Defense" on digi-pack CD, April 16th. Don’t fool yourself into not buying this masterpiece immediately!

Introducing...Black Nasa
This other amazing addition to the Tee Pee stable features Chris Cosnik from Atomic Bitchwax. Imagine Bitchwax whiskey mixed with cutthroat slide playing á la ZZ Top. Black Nasa self-titled debut will be released CD/LP in theFall ‘02.
