500 FT of Pipe from Detroit eventually signed a deal with Beard Of Starswhich will lead to the release of their long awaited first full length album"Dope Deal". The album will consist of ten tracks, among which anastonishing iper-psych cover of Donovan's "Sunshine Superman", and will seethe light of day on April 5. 2001 both in CD and LP formats. The LP willcome in ltd. G/F perfumed sleeve (the actual flavour to be used is strictlya "classified" matter). With the artwork has been entrusted the now jetpropelled MALLEUS ART.
The new Angel Rot album is delayed. The release of the new album by Tom Five's (formerly of White Zombie) band from NYC has shifted to a date to be announced(presumably around next fall). Angel Rot have recently recruited George Bertz, one ofthe most sought-after drummers in the NYC rock scene. George has previouslybeen drumming for Dinosaur Jr., Kilslug, The F.U.'s, Gobblehoof and a bunchmore. He declared being psyched to soon enter the studio with Angel Rot.George is currently touring Australia and Japan with J.Mascis & The Fog(also featuring Mike Watt) and they are expected to stay abroad until March.After his return, the recording of the new Angel Rot album will be promptlyresumed.
"Oscillator Blues" by Wrench ready for its European pressing. "OscillatorBlues", the hypnotic work by the Australian band Wrench, will be soonreleased in CD format (for Europe and UK) and LP (world-wide). The limitededition LP version will come in a fold-out sleeve and is expected to be soldout in a few weeks.
That's All Folks! back to the studio straight after their tour. The mostrespected Italian heavy-psych band is just back from a series of gigs inEurope and within days will be back to the studio reharsing and working onnew stuff intended for being compiled in their next album scheduled to bereleased on Beard Of Stars again. Very few information have by now surfacedon this project which is rumored would be produced by a huge personality ofinternational renown. Fresh news will follow. Stay tuned !
The first sessions for the new Insider album will soon take place. Followingthe critical and public consent received by "Jammin' For Smiling God",Insider are ready for retire in their private bunker-studio, the StellarMadhouse, and start putting together all the ideas conceived through theselast months for their next full length work. Insider themselves declare itwill be something in their most psycho-space vein: - Out of our minds andthrough our instruments keep getting out sounds which seem to be led by aninvisible hand and leave astonished even ourselves -. Maybe Pink Floyd,Hawkwind, Ozric Tentacles and Blue Cheer have joined forces in the aim oftransmitting their gracing influence to a superior being ... whosemysterious hand ...

Backbiter/Elope [Split CD - MR 2015]
Backbiter/ Elope: this is a great pairing of two really cool andinteresting bands. Backbiter, la's rock darlings, sound like a mix of thewho and mountain. Members include 'current' players in the Angry Samoans,and past players of the Seminal Porno Sponges. Backbiter even won the LAWeekly music award for the best hard rock/ metal band, beating out Queensof The Stone Age, Fear Factory and Orgy!
Elope, from Sweden, features members of the legendary Union CarbideProductions, as well as Swedish rockers, Lowrider. Elope sounds nothinglike their mother bands---in fact, they sound very 60's psychedelic mixedwith the Pretty Things. This is a really good band! Very different thanthe usual Man's Ruin fare.
Altamont - "Our Darling" [CD - MR2020]
This is the second full length from Dale Crover's Altamont. This timearound, the boys concentrate on more of a meat-n-potatoes greasyrock-n-roll edge, as opposed to the southern rock drenched first record.

Man's Ruin is proud to present the follow up, full length release fromDutch rockers, Beaver. This record is very much in the vein of The Obsessedand Soundgarden. Add in a heap of prog-rock influence (w/o the cheesed outkraut rock edge), and you have Beaver.
