Saint Vitus: New Album Release Date Announced (Blabbermouth)

Lillie: F-65, the eighth studio album from doom legends Saint Vitus — and their first since 1995 — will be released on March 27, 2012 in North America (four days earlier in Europe) via Season Of Mist.

Speaking to Terrorizer magazine, Saint Vitus frontman Scott “Wino” Weinrich stated about the title, “Y’know the reason we called it ‘Lillie: F-65′? It was a powerful downer back in our day and well, Dave [Chandler, guitar] really had a thing for his downers.”

Saint Vitus’ current lineup features Chandler, drummer Henry Vasquez, bassist Mark Adams and Weinrich.

“Making this album was really a blast,” said Chandler. “Being able to live in an environment where all we had to concentrate on was the new material, became very inspiring. And along with our new drummer, Henry Vasquez, and label, Season Of Mist, this record has given us a new opportunity to show everyone that we still have more to shove in your face.”

OHHH YEA, lets keep up with the coolness. The last coolest of dark songs by Saint Vitus achieved on their last album was Let the end begin, Sloth, Return of the zombie, In the asylum and Dark world. Please continue from there with Wino or how about Wino with Scott on vocals? Keep up with the dark coolness or………..how about a BIT MORE BIKER? Dark biker metal? ftw man.
