Get Ready For the Final Kink X-Rated Roadburn Radio Broadcast: 8pm – 11pm CET (Including Current 93′s Performance at Roadburn 2008)

This year, a new Roadburn tradition was born: our weekly radio show on Kink X-Rated every Thursday night (8pm – 11pm CET). Unfortunately, tonight’s broadcast will be our last: Kink X-Rated is calling it quits effective 1 October.

After Kink FM‘s attempts to secure a radio frequency here in the Netherlands failed, the holding company in charge decided to pull the plug on the Internet station. While this did not exactly come as a surprise, we were hoping for a restart at another network. There is a slight chance that Roadburn Radio will continue, but so far nothing has been set. For now, this will be the last show at Kink X-Rated.

As a tribute to the late Arjen Grolleman, who was the driving force behind Kink FM, we will end with one of Arjen’s favorite bands, Current 93 live at Roadburn 2008, just like we did when we launched Roadburn Radio back in April.
