Roadburn wants to take this opportunity to pay tribute to Norway’s Hole in the Sky festival. Every August, Bergen draws rabid masses hungry for extreme music in majestic surroundings. They leave the city among the mountains sated, only to return with even more voracious appetites. Alas, this year marks the final edition of the renowned Norwegian festival.
Roadburn is proud to return to Hordaland for Hole in the Sky Chapter XII (August 24 – 27) and salutes the organizers, bands, audiences and crews that have made this one of the finest festivals in the world.
For those unable to observe the historic event in person, open the menu and partake in the Last Supper in spirit!

I’ve never heard of a festival paying tribute to another before – that’s pretty damn cool! I’m really sad to see what, since 2008, has been my favourite annual haunt calling it a day but sweet fuckin’ Jesus it’s going out in style. Roll on Wednesday! |m|
And, maybe just maybe I might give Roadburn a crack next year, too. I need something to fill the void after all!
