“Odyssey”, the new video from the Atlanta, Georgia “psych metal” band Zoroaster , can be viewed below courtesy of Stereogum. The clip was was helmed by director Chad Rullman for Supercollider Films. The Atlanta-based Rullman is known previously for directing Mastodon’s career-launching videos ‘March of the Fire Ants’ and ‘Iron Tusk’ as well as his work for such artists as Neurosis, Nile and Soilent Green.
“Zoroaster is my favorite Atlanta metal band and I’ve been dying to work with them,” commented the director. “Their shows are monstrous, and with this video I really wanted to capture the essence of the ZOROASTER live experience.”
“Odyssey” comes off Zoroaster’s sophomore album, Matador, which is scheduled for a July 13 North American release via E1 Music.
