Roadburn Festival’s annual Metal Disco returns: now in two locations!

We’re proud to announce that our annual Metal Disco featuring DJ sets by Orange Goblin‘s Ben and Chris will be part of the 2010 Roadburn festivities. The disco has acquired a legendary reputation over the years. Raucous singalongs and gleeful stagediving from the booth are not uncommon as each night wears on.

Once again Orange Goblin and Roadburn’s Maarten & Patrick are looking forward to spinning lots of excellent music over the course of the three days. Whether it’s classic metal, doom, heavy 70s rock, stoner or thrash, you’re bound to hear something you like. Expect some guest deejays, too!

Roadburn’s Metal Disco will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday night to keep the party going long after the last band finishes at 23:30 in the Midi Theatre. Be sure to check it out — even if you don’t have any energy left over for random stagediving after all of the awesome live music!

Orange Goblin will host the Metal Disco in the 013 venue on Friday night while Maarten and Patrick bring down the house over at the Midi Theatre. “So, here we are again! It’s that time of year when the doomed hordes descend upon the quaint town of Tilburg for 4 days of drinking, smoking, partying and witnessing the absolute best selection of the heaviest bands on the planet! Once again Walter and the team have managed to do what no-one expected by topping last years bill with an astonishing mixture of Doom, Sludge, Psych, Stoner  and just about everything else that makes Roadburn 2010 THE festival to be at this year!”
