Once again we would like to invite you, our beloved Roadburn Festival attendees, to share your Roadburn experiences. We will select a number of these submissions to include in the Roadburn Festival booklet and/or post on our website like we did in 2009. Tell us about a previous Roadburn experience or say a little something about the band(s) you are excited about seeing at this year’s festival, and help make the Roadburn Festival booklet a reflection of the communal experience that defines this special event for bands, ‘burners and festival staff alike!

The deadline for submissions is 7 March 2010. We are looking forward to reading your contributions. Please get in touch with walter @ roadburn . com
Walter, on behalf of Jurgen and the Roadburn staff.

Every year no matter what situation im in be it work or family i know come april there is one thing on my mind ROADBURN! . Ive been to other festivals /gigs etc round the world mostly close to home but never have i felt a community spirit like i have in tilburg.
Many times i have missed various bands due to being outside hanging out with new and old friends and some i only see at roadburn
and we are all brothers and sisters gathered together to pay homage to the riff!
There are too many amazing sets too mention but ones that stick in my head and many of my friends are obviously saint vitus last year earthless playing the main room at the last minute and both the church of misery gigs
it gets better and better every year and when you think walter and co cannot top themselves they do but the main ethos of the festival does not change and for this i salute them and all the metal brothers worldwide.
for 3 days odd nothing matters in the world its a santuary for us all and may long it reign!
Baby or dreagontears WOODROSE Gentleman’s pistols,Josiah, High on fire ect ect
Is beyond words the pleasure I felt When I did manage to get tickets for me and my friends to this fest.
I had the enormous luck of going in 2008 and it literally blew me away. The atmosphere, the no-pretentious attitude of everybody, the gigs, beginning with the Heads, through Down till Cult Of Luna. Indoors, best sound ever, friendly people everywhere…and now with more space,
I just wish I was a commercial agent of this festival because I think it is the most amazing thing anyone could have the pleasure to sell
Hope I can make it another year, that’s it
April means Roadburn. Living towards this festival every year again!
I remember a (long) time ago when it was held in Eindhoven.
Fu Manchu played, they were great, but last was 35007 (LOOSE).
They blew everybody away, they were so psychedelic, rockin’ and alive!
And that’s exactly what Roadburn is!
Psychedelic, rockin’ and alive, every year again!
Killer line ups, the best attendees a festival and all the bands can wish and the best atmosphere ever tasted!
Everybody comes for the same and shares the same: “Hailing the mighty riff”!
It feels special to be around with the Roadburn festival for the last decade and to be with all these stoners, burners and great people, every year again!
It makes it even more special when I enter the 013 and hear the first band play on Thursday and think: “Yeah, here we go again!”
