We are thrilled to announce that Darkspace has been confirmed for Tom Gabriel Warrior’s Only Death Is Real at Roadburn Festival 2010.
Having been described as “the black metal equivalent of the Eraserhead soundtrack”, there is little doubt that Switzerland’s Darkspace is one of the most esoteric bands in metal today. Solely on strength of their visionary records and excellent live shows, Darkspace has earned a reputation for innovation and excellence in the music underground.

Darkspace’s sound is hallucinatory, their brand of organic black metal induces rapture with pummeling/pulsing bass and guitar work swirling into amorphous, bleak clouds of noise, drone and ambient. Their name and their sound are both a tribute to, and a description of, an endless void of darkness — leaving no question as to the meaning of Darkspace.
We are happy to announce that with Darkspace on the bill, we have completed the entire lineup of Roadburn Festival 2010.
In addition, Tom Gabriel Warrior will introduce his new incarnation, Triptykon, who will make their major on-stage debut at Roadburn Festival 2010 in the headlining slot in support of their forthcoming album, titled Eparistera Daimones.
