The Roadburn 2009 Festival that was

The 2009 Roadburn festival is now behind us and we are left with a huge pile of amazing memories and impressions to tide us over until next year.

Once again, people from all over the world descended on Tilburg and the energy at this year’s roadburn seemed extra special.

We want to thank all of you so much for sharing in our annual worship of Thee Riff. We also have to thank the incredible bands who all gave so much to us, and especially to Neurosis for sharing their Beyond The Pale festival with us. We also want to send a huge thank you to the excellent people who staff the 013 and make this the most fan-friendly experience anywhere.

Rest assured that we are already working to make next year’s Roadburn the best yet and we are excited about the success of the new V39 venue that we added this year and a new state-of-the-art venue that will be added next year.
